Since I was young, I have always spent extra time to “make things pretty”. Whether it was color coding my notes, playing around with typography for social media, or painting posters for my dance team, visual design and aesthetics were always important to me and something I loved to spend time on.

During my senior year of high school, I took my first computer science class. While programming didn’t come as naturally to me as art and design did, being able to successfully pass all the unit tests after continuously debugging and analyzing my code was extremely rewarding. I was captivated by the problem-solving aspect and knew it was something I wanted to gain a deeper understanding in.

When I first heard of UI/UX design during the summer before coming to Olin College, I was immediately drawn to learning more. It seemed like the perfect intersection of what I wanted to work on: a way to combine my passions for visual aesthetics and problem solving. I was enthralled with the idea of designing solutions for users and having a tangible impact on their experiences.

At Olin College, I have gained extensive experience working on cross-functional teams and working on projects that focus on the end-users. I am continuing to develop my understanding of design processes, high-performing teams, and technical skills. I seek new ways to grow my skills as a designer and engineer by collaborating with fun and supportive teams.

In my free time, you can catch me taking the T into Boston, dancing, and getting bubble tea. Feel free to reach out to me to connect and chat, or check out some projects I've worked on!
